Our qualified staff build engaging lesson plans from Georgia Early Learning and Developmental Standards.

GELDS are a set of high quality, research-based standards for children from birth to age five, designed to promote quality learning experiences and address what children should know and be able to do at each developmental stage.

For School-Age Children:

When Troup County School District is closed for spring and summer break or other non-holiday school closings, we

are opened.

Teachable Moments offers specialized classes for school-age kids. Our curriculum is designed to stimulate creativity and build valuable social skills.

Mission

Teachable Moments Learning Center is committed to child development and quality care for the children we serve. Our objective is to provide a positive atmosphere, which will promote the social, physical, school readiness, and intellectual growth of each child while ensuring good health practices, precautionary safety measures, and decent welfare of every child. I believe that children should be introduced to learning early in life, and that it can happen in a fun way. We are not a babysitting agency. We are a school of early learning. We teach young children.

Cost/Rate/Charges for Standard 10hr. Care
August 1,2025-August 1, 2026

6 Weeks to 1 Year old.....................................200.00/Per-Week

1-2 years old ........................................................180.00/Per-Week

3-5 years old ........................................................170.00/Per-Week

School Breaks/Summer ............................ 160.00/Per-Week

Before/After School ....................................... 150.00/Per-Week

Special Needs as determined by a licensed physician......................................200.00/Per-Week

Registration Fee/Activity Fee ...........................................75.00/Annually

Late Pick-up outside of contract Per occurrence

3.00 per minute. After 3 occurrences your services will be terminated.

Late Payment Fee 25.00 Per Occurrence

The tuition for children requiring special attention for proper care as determined by a licensed physician or therapist will remain at 200.00/per week regardless of age.

Children who are three or older, and are not fully potty trained, but have no additional special needs documented by a licensed physician or therapist will remain at 180.00 per week, until fully potty trained.
